1. Acceptance of terms

By installing or using the Vistara Chrome extension, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please uninstall the extension.

2. What the extension provides

Vistara replaces Chrome's default new tab page with a customizable page featuring a background photo and a search bar. It also sets search.ironclick.network as your default search engine, which redirects queries to Google's search results page.

The extension is provided free of charge. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue it at any time without notice.

3. Your responsibilities

You agree to use the extension only for lawful purposes. You agree not to:

4. Third-party services

The extension integrates with third-party services — including Google (search results and autocomplete suggestions) and Unsplash (background photos). Your use of those services is governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the content or practices of third-party services.

5. Intellectual property

Background photos are provided by Unsplash under the Unsplash License. Attribution is displayed on every new tab page as required by that license. All other content and code in the extension is owned by Vistara or its licensors.

6. Disclaimer of warranties

The extension is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that it will be error-free, uninterrupted, or compatible with every configuration. Use it at your own risk.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Vistara and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the extension, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability to you for any direct damages shall not exceed the amount you paid for the extension (which is zero, as it is free).

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the extension after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. The current version will always be available at this URL.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the developer is located, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
